Brent Whitfield

Brent Whitfield is a licensed civil engineer in Florida with over 15 years of experience in water resources. He currently serves as the Director of Water Resources for Chen Moore and Associates in West Palm Beach, where he works with various public sector clients, such as municipalities, utilities, airports, and the SFWMD. With expertise in hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling, as well as permit procurement and asset management planning, Mr. Whitfield has managed various projects such as the hydraulic design of the 4,500 acre STA-1W expansion, the stormwater management master plan for Palm Beach International Airport, and various watershed master plans.

Aside from his technical skills, Mr. Whitfield is also an active member of the community in Palm Beach Country. He has served as President of the College Park Neighborhood Association and is an advocate for K-12 engagement. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Class and the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute. Mr. Whitfield has received multiple awards for his work, including being named Engineer of the Year 2019 for Region 5, ASCE.
