Amazon Business was launched in France in February 2018. Amazon Business is a marketplace intended for businesses, it offers a wide range of features which enable companies to easily buy their non-strategic products on Amazon. Among these features, there are the multi-user account, business only price savings, corporate purchasing processes, business only products etc. I joined the Amazon Business team 3 days before the French launch and was in charge of the whole business development. The first year of Amazon Business France was a huge success and our results were well over targets. I was constantly working with Germany and the UK to improve our offer and standardize Amazon Business across Europe.

Mirakl is a French software developer that provides a SaaS-based online marketplace solution. I joined their Boston team few months after they launched their US division. During this rich and varied experience, I was responsible for preparing weekly sales reports leveraging Salesforce.com and Excel; analyzing and presenting lead-to-close progress, pipeline, sales activities and forecasts; assisting the marketing team with their development of datasheets and collateral; analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the primary competitors in the Marketplace space and creating highly customized presentations for C-Level meetings. I have learned so much from teammates and projects that we realized together, especially when it comes to Marketplace strategy, retail and sales.

Sales Business Development

Altavia is an independent group in Paris specialized in commercial communication for the retail sector. I started working with the Global Key Account who asked me to find an efficient CMS (Content Management System) for their Marketing division and to create a newsletter template that we were going to use weekly. A big French retailer assigned Altavia to develop ideas to improve their sales in store, I put together our proposal and had the freedom to submit two projects that were accepted by the retailer (scent Marketing for some aisles & Virtual Reality to explain the origin of their fruits and vegetables). I helped the HR on the implementation of an Enterprise Social Network. My final task, the most interesting, was to manage the upgrade and the redesign of Altavia’s website and its 34 subsidiaries.
