Sean A. Hughes, a seasoned business executive with over 25 years of global experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Blackshore LLC, a YouTube Network, Talent Management, and Influence Marketing Company.

Hughes has an impressive background, having worked with Merck for 18 years, where he held various leadership positions across the Caribbean, Latin America, the US, and Canada. During his time with Merck, Hughes was involved in numerous breakthrough treatments in Oncology, Cardiology, and Infectious Diseases, including both Sales and Marketing strategy formulation and execution.

Hughes is also known for his involvement in many aspects of business development, forging alliances with multinational organizations such as the World Bank, PAHO, PEFPAR, and UNAIDS. At VreeHealth, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck, he was responsible for the creation and leadership of the commercial and business development team. As Director of Innovation at Merck, he supported the growth of operations, business development, and the successful exit to UMPC's Infectious Disease Connect.
