Deborah Chang

Deborah Chang is a youth advocate, entrepreneur, and educator with an impressive background in community innovation, collective impact and youth organizing. She is the founder of Youth Power Coalition, a movement that equips young people in NYC to thrive. Deborah holds a bachelor's in Public Policy and International Affairs from Princeton University, and she has a background in SSA from the University of Cape Town. She has worked in various organisations, including Socratic Labs, KIPP Houston Public Schools, Achievement First, DesignED and Nexus Works. In addition, she has been involved in Sociocracy For All, where she served as Mission Circle Member, Social Justice Member, and Fundraising Donor Developer. Deborah has a passion for building youth-led collective impact and mobilizes communities, and she is available as a consultant or speaker.
