Michael Buckley

Michael Buckley is a seasoned communications professional, startup advisor, and investor with extensive experience in various industries. He studied Communication and Political Science at Marist College, and since then, he has been involved in numerous organizations in different capacities. Buckley is currently the VP of Communications at Twilio, a cloud communications platform that enables software developers to integrate phone calls, text messages, and other communications into their applications. He has also served as an advisor, board member, and investor in various startups, including Synthesia, Be My Eyes, Virtual Visions, Cylindo, IntraVu Medical, Stella.ai, Clove Dental, Zya (acquired by Google), and Spektral (acquired by Apple). He was the co-founder and chairman of the board at Ocean's Halo, a food company that produces a range of seaweed-based snacks and noodle bowls. Buckley has also worked as the California Communications Director at Mike Bloomberg 2020 and held senior positions at Brunswick Group, Facebook, and Hill & Knowlton.
