Neal Bloom is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a passion for building tech communities. He has a diverse background that includes launching 84 astronauts into space while working on the Space Shuttle program and studying mechanical engineering at UC San Diego. Bloom co-founded Portfolium.com in 2012, which was acquired by Instructure. He has also co-founded a media company called Fresh Brewed Tech and a communications agency called Rising Tide Partners. Bloom is currently the Managing Partner at Interlock Capital, where he invests in startup companies. He has received a High School Diploma from Granada Hills HS and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. In addition to his professional work, Bloom has served as a Board Member and Chairman Emeritus at Startup San Diego and on the board of Upcycle and Company.
