Awaiz Patni

Awaiz Patni is an internationally experienced finance professional based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

He currently serves as the Group CFO at Saudi Bugshan Holding Company Limited.

With over 20 years of experience, including 17 in the Middle East, Awaiz has a strong background in finance, audit, tax compliance, and treasury management.

Awaiz graduated from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in Bombay, India, and holds memberships with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the US Certified Public Accountant association.

His educational background also includes a law degree from Mumbai University.

In his role, Awaiz oversees corporate portfolio management, capital allocation, risk assessment, strategic asset allocation, and IT strategy and transformation within the Group.

He is responsible for managing the Group's global investment portfolio across various asset classes and regions including North America, UK, and Europe.

Awaiz's expertise extends to investments in cash, equity, fixed interest, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and real estate.

Throughout his career, Awaiz has held key positions at reputable organizations like EY, where he worked in the Assurance and Tax departments.

He has also been involved as a Board Member and Finance Director in various companies including Munchfit, MenaBev, Arabian Farms Development Company, and Bugshan Investment Company Limited.
