    Ann Cooper is a renowned chef, author, educator, and advocate for improving food quality in schools. With over 30 years of culinary experience and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she has spent more than 15 years working in school food programs. Currently, Ann holds the position of director of nutrition services at the Boulder Valley School District. Her mission is to transform K-12 school meal programs across the nation from processed food-based to whole foods-focused, sourcing regionally and preparing from scratch. Known as the 'Renegade Lunch Lady,' she has received recognition from various organizations for her impactful work, including an honorary doctorate for sustainable agriculture efforts.
