Anil Verma is a seasoned technology sales professional, with over 16 years of experience under his belt. He has spent the last 12+ years specializing in cloud and complex hybrid solutions within Federal Government and the broader public sector. Anil's expertise lies in delivering cloud/hybrid enabled scenarios that drive innovation, modernize workplaces, support IT efficiency, and improve customer/citizen engagements. As the leader of the cloud and professional services business at Softchoice, Anil works closely with Canadian Federal Government, Crown Corporations, and local Ottawa Enterprise to drive digital innovation and deliver services that support customers on their journey to the cloud. Prior to joining Softchoice, Anil worked in the Modern Workplace practice at Microsoft, where he specialized in cloud solutions that enabled mobility and security, cloud infrastructure, modern collaboration and communication scenarios.
Anil's extensive experience in working with clients and vendors to build out solutions while guiding customers in topics like cloud/hybrid models, application design, end-user productivity, cyber security, IOT/AI, governance/compliance, and analytics has helped him develop a proven framework for delivering successful transitions to the cloud. He focuses on helping customers identify business challenges that are limiting growth or project deliverables and aligning technology to support desired outcomes. Anil is passionate about collaborating and networking with others in the industry and is actively engaged in supporting his community. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth competitive basketball/baseball and is active in several local community organizations.
