Aminur Rahman is a Bangladeshi poet and translator who writes in Bengali. He is considered a follower of Rabindranath Tagore and has published several collections of poetry and prose in Bengali.1
Rahman's poems have been translated into over 25 languages, including English, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Malay, Mongolian, German, Nepali, Russian, Urdu, French, and Hindi.1 He is actively involved in literary translation and criticism, having published 10 collections of translated poetry.1
In addition to his literary pursuits, Rahman has also established a successful career in the corporate world. He currently holds the position of Country Director at IMS (IQVIA), a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and contract research services to the life sciences industry.234
With his extensive experience and expertise, Rahman has made significant contributions to various organizations. He serves as the Deputy Executive Director and Director of International Drowning Prevention and Research at the Royal Life Saving Society Commonwealth.5 Rahman is also part of the team at the Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB).6
