- Manage the Editor-Writer Mentorship Program pairing upcoming writers from underrepresented groups with experienced book publishing editors. Editor Mentors provide substantive feedback to help raise a strong manuscript to its best position for submission to potential agents and editors. This is an opportunity to learn from the knowledge of experienced acquiring editors. This program is free of cost due to the generosity of our volunteer editors.
- Oversee and implement all programs including the mentorship program, Margins Bookselling Month, the BIPOC Bookseller Award, and industry workshops, which include strategic planning, management, delegating necessary tasks, creating timelines, drafting program materials for quality and timely execution of programming in collaboration with the Executive Director and other team members. 
- Supervise social media outreach and Social Media Intern to improve engagement with writers, authors, publishing professionals, booksellers, bookstores, and community partners.
- Assist with presenting and reporting on impact to cultivate and steward partnerships and donors.

Leave with the tools to create your own story of advocacy and utilize your story to enact tangible change.

- Corresponded with Dr. Dario Contreras Trauma Hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to organize an Occupational Therapy Clinic to address the needs of patients from a low socio-economic background as well as provide Occupational Therapy students with hands on experience treating patients. 
- Organized a service learning trip, which consisted of reserving accommodations, transportation and cultural sites for 10 students, 2 faculty members and 2 interpreters.

• Responsible for communicating with local employers about trends of job seeker interests and qualifications from their designated site to identify opportunities for On-The-Job Training and other wage subsidy opportunities for clients and businesses

Bilingual Business Service Liaison

•	Composed trip proposals, which included sample itineraries and invoices, for approval and funding.
•	Coordinated the hotel reservation, transportation (airport pick up and drop off as well as daily in-country transportation), meals, sightseeing activities, and service activities, to meet all of the volunteers needs. 
•	Translate conversations between volunteers, faculty members, and community members from English to Spanish and vise-versa.
•	Marketed the service learning trips via social media, targeted emails, and at the academic institutions during Study Away Fairs to enroll interested volunteers. 
•	Fundraised over $20,000 for service projects and led multiple service trips for volunteers.

o	Arcadia University (June 2016)
- Established a relationship with the nonprofit, 33 Buckets, to collaboratively fundraise over $6,000 and build a Water Filtration system for over 500 community members.
- Instructed over 100 adults and children about Water Sanitation and Hygiene with 17 volunteers through a series of classes specifically tailored for their age and educational background.

o	Women International Leaders (WIL) (November 2015)
- Exposed clients to: the cocoa production process and the challenges locally-owned cooperatives face as big unsustainable businesses compete with them, the prominence of femicide rooted in the machismo culture, and women’s health issues by visiting local clinics and a maternity ward, to support local Dominican-owned businesses and clinics.

o	Arcadia University (March 2015)
- Led a service trip for 27 volunteers that conducted over 40 community interviews and built an aquaponic system. 
- Administered community interviews to better understand the needs of our community.
-Fundraised over $6000 to build an aquaponic system (produced both fish and crops in a closed loop system without waste products) to address iron and protein deficiencies in the community we serve.

Schools for Sustainability

Trip Coordinator, Leader, and Interpreter

Schools for Sustainability establishes and operates vocational-technical high schools that teach and model proficiency in organic farming, water remediation, renewable energy, and waste management to alleviate poverty and improve the environment.

- Implemented an organizational structure for a team of 73 inter-professionals with experience in architecture, engineering, education, science, accounting, grant writing, web design, and law.
- Organizations content creator for marketing campaigns via social media and web based resources such as the Huffington Post and our organizational website, to increase our donor and supporter base.
- Developed a comprehensive fundraising strategy and plan, which included grants, corporate contributions, fundraising events, crowdsourcing campaigns, Board Member recruitment, and individual donor programs, resulting in over $200,000 raised.
- Wrote and delivered a presentation for the former President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernández, which led to the donation of 22 acres of land (the site for the first sustainable school).
- Trained over 50 employees to ensure they have the support, information, and resources needed to research technologies, write grants, develop curriculum, and market the organization.

- Organized, advertised and collaborated with the Salvation Army to gather over 5 tons of donations for needy families. 
- Implemented the Knit-A-Square project which involved over 100 students that made over 2,500 felted squares to be assembled into blankets for AIDS orphans.
- Maintained the budget and raised over $1000 for disaster relief by selling donated items on eBay.
- Delegated responsibilities and trained 5 new employees through effective communication and confidence building.

Community Service Liaison

- Advanced the recycling of electronics, toners, plastic, paper etc. and trained students to continue this program which generates approximately $500 a year in profit.
- Coordinated and advertised tree plantings and clean-ups with Cheltenham Township.
- Attended multiple conferences and political campaigns that addressed issues such as Global Warming, alternative methods for energy, and endangered species.
