Community Engagement Professional | Program Manager
Megan Brabec, MPA, serves as the New Hampshire State Manager for Save the Children Action Network. In this role, she focuses on community engagement and advocacy efforts to support children and families in need. Brabec has a strong background in civic and community engagement, having previously worked as the Coordinator for the Civic & Community Engagement department at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). There, she developed programs aimed at empowering students to participate in community service and promote active citizenship.12
Brabec is recognized for her skills in volunteer recruitment, management, and training, as well as her ability to build and maintain relationships within the community. She has also been involved in initiatives such as the Peace Corps Prep program at UNH, which helps students prepare competitive applications for the Peace Corps.13
In addition to her professional roles, Brabec has been active in local politics, serving as a Town Councilor in Newmarket, NH.34 Her commitment to community service and engagement reflects her passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.
