John Sangimino is a seasoned learning and development expert who has spent over 25 years transforming how individuals and organizations learn and perform. With a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication with a focus on Organizational Communication, Learning & Design from Ithaca College and a Master of Arts in Education - Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, Sangimino has the educational background to support his impressive professional career.
Currently a Senior Expert at McKinsey & Company’s Learning Design and Development Center of Excellence (COE), Sangimino works closely with McKinsey practices to develop learning strategies and solutions to facilitate performance change. His extensive knowledge in learning design has allowed him to lead the COE-extended team, scaling the reach of quality learning design throughout the organization.
Sangimino's experience extends across a diverse range of sectors and industries, from startups to Fortune 50 companies. Before joining McKinsey, he was the Program Director at The Regis Company, Vice President of Institute for Learning (IFL) at BMO Harris Bank, and Relationship Manager/ Technical Specialist at the same institution. Prior to this, he held positions as an Information Architect at both Lante Corporation and Agency.com and as an Instructional Designer at Andersen Consulting.
