Alistair Douglas

Alistair Douglas is an individual dedicated to making a positive impact, with a background that converges marine science, industry, and technology.

He holds a PhD in Science & Engineering and an Honours Degree in Marine Sciences from Flinders University, along with a BSc in Marine Biology focusing on Fisheries Science & Aquaculture from James Cook University. Additionally, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Japanese Studies at James Cook University.

Alistair has been associated with various organizations where he has showcased his expertise. He served as a Senior Advisor at Tuna Australia, Founder and Partner at Eachmile Technologies, Core Team Member at Fishcoin, and as a Sessional Lecturer at James Cook University among other notable positions.

With a rich professional history, he has also held roles such as Director at Provenance Japan & Seafood Services Japan, Member of the Board Of Directors for APAC at the World Aquaculture Society, Senior Advisor for Innovation Ecosystems at DSM, Speaker at Allianz, and Founder and Partner at EcoHub Holdings Pte. Ltd. He has also been the Regional Manager for Asia at SmartAqua and the CEO of CWT Fresh.
