Alisa Cordesius

Alisa Cordesius is a seasoned professional with a strong background in social impact and marketing. She attended NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied non-profit/public/organizational management and international/global studies. Alisa also spent time studying intermediate Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture at Universidad de Belgrano.

She began her career as an International Relations Coordinator and Language Acquisition Teacher at the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), where she sharpened her skills in outreach and collaboration. Later, she worked at Mercy Corps as a Monitoring & Evaluation Field Assistant for the Local Empowerment for Peace Program.

Over the past few years, Alisa has held several leadership positions at Facebook and Indiegogo in strategic partner management, product partnerships, and social innovation and design outreach. She has also served as a Donor Communications Manager at the San Francisco Parks Alliance and as a Project Manager for the NYU Advanced M&E Project in International Development Programming at Counterpart International.

Along with her professional career, Alisa is an avid baked potato enthusiast.
