Alfred Yamoah

Alfred Yamoah is a dedicated individual with a strong academic background in Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at RWTH Aachen University/Maastricht University, Alfred previously obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering from both RWTH Aachen University and Ghent University as well as a BEng. in Biomedical Engineering from All Nations University College.

Alfred's professional experience includes roles such as being a PhD Researcher at RWTH Aachen University/Maastricht University, a former PhD scientific exchange visitor at Prof. Dr. Dr. Andreas Hermann’s Lab at the Department of Neurology in Carl Gustav Carus University hospital, and a former Research Assistant at the Institute for Neuropathology at RWTH Aachen University Hospital.

Additionally, Alfred has worked as an MSc. Student Internship trainee at the Institute for Molecular Cardiovascular Research (IMCAR) at RWTH Aachen University Hospital and at the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department at the University of Ghent Hospital. Prior to these roles, Alfred served as a Senior Laboratory Technologist at Ghana International School (GIS) and honed his skills as an Internship Trainee at Dannex pharmaceutical Ltd.
