Thibault Honegger

Thibault Honegger is a scientist and entrepreneur with a strong background in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the Université Grenoble Alpes and an Engineer's degree from Ecole Centrale Nantes. He has worked as an associate researcher at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique and as a post-doc fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Thibault has co-founded several startups, including Linkio SAS and Smart Force Technologies SAS. His latest venture is NETRI, where he serves as CEO and co-founder.

NETRI aims to accelerate the development of novel treatments for neurological disorders by designing, fabricating, and exploiting microfluidic technologies to reproduce neuronal circuits using physiologically relevant in vitro microfluidic neuro engineering. Their 14 Neurofluidic chips can perform assays to understand mode of action using rodent or human coupled to electeophysiological recordings.

Thibault Honegger's expertise lies in microfluidic technologies, neuroscience, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, and entrepreneurship. He is interested in bridging the gap between petri dish assays and in vivo experiments, designing and fabricating microfluidic technologies, and exploring the use of technology for medical applications.
