Alan MacPhee is the Chief Executive Officer of Kahuku Medical Center (KMC), a position he has held since February 2018. He was appointed to lead KMC, which is the oldest hospital on the North Shore of Oahu, after serving as the CEO of John C. Fremont Health District Hospital in Mariposa, California, and previously as the Chief Financial Officer at Corcoran District Hospital in California.145
With over 31 years of experience in healthcare administration, MacPhee has worked in various capacities across both large tertiary and small rural critical access hospitals. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Certificate in Managed Care from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.13
MacPhee's leadership at KMC focuses on enhancing community health services and improving hospital operations. Under his guidance, KMC has continued to provide essential services such as emergency care, primary care, and various ancillary medical services to the local community.12
Outside of his professional life, Alan MacPhee has been married to his wife Gayle for over 30 years, and they have four children and grandchildren.1
