Adriana Marques

Adriana Marques is an experienced curator and leader in the arts known for her specialist knowledge of culture-led regeneration.

Currently, Adriana leads an ambitious cultural plan for Thamesmead, London's new town with Peabody, involving various cultural projects like the London's first Cultural Infrastructure Plan, new creative workspaces, community-led festivals, and more.

Her previous achievements include embedding arts and culture into Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, writing advocacy publications for Arts Council England, and running the contemporary art programme at the Austrian Cultural Forum.

Adriana is involved in various organizations, including being the Head of Cultural Strategy for Thamesmead at Peabody, an RSA Fellow, a member of the Old Oak and Park Royal Place Review Panel, and a Trustee of Arbyte Gallery and Studios.

She is also part of University of the Arts Professional Mentorship Programme and has a strong educational background with a MA in Creative Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London, and other notable studies in cultural leadership and contemporary arts.
