Steven Sinofsky is a highly accomplished and experienced tech executive with a passion for helping entrepreneurs build innovative software-driven products and services. He began his career at Microsoft in 1989 as a software design engineer, eventually becoming a senior executive overseeing major releases of Microsoft Office and serving as President of the Windows division from 2009 to 2012. Sinofsky is now a Board Partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, where he advises and invests in startups and companies of all sizes. He has co-authored a book with Harvard Business School professor Marco Iansiti, "One Strategy: Organization, Planning, and Decision Making," and has spent time focusing on the use of technology in developing markets, living in China and currently learning in Africa.
