Jason Spinell is an experienced venture capitalist who has helped shape the future of work by investing and managing Slack Fund, which supports early-stage companies focused on this industry. Prior to joining Slack, Jason was Ventures Director at Undercurrent, a strategic consultancy that provided organizational design services to clients in New York, LA, and the UK. He led Undercurrent's investment efforts and focused on early-stage companies in various industries such as healthcare, commerce, education, content creation, logistics, and finance.

Jason studied at the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business, where he earned his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Pre-Med at the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition, he also took courses at the College of the Holy Cross.

Apart from his role at Slack, Jason served on the advisory board of Accion Systems Inc. and co-founded Precog, a data science platform where he was VP of Business Development and Finance.
