I am thrilled to announce my move to CLV Group. With over 50 years in the real estate space, CLV is the prominent industry leader with a complete asset management platform encompassing funding, acquisition, development, construction, property management and leasing, a full-service brokerage with a portfolio of over 3.6M sq ft in Ottawa already. This is high-impact community building, community development, office to residential conversions, all wrapped up with growth projections that are jaw dropping - plus who doesn't want to be part of a dream team that is actually making a difference to families, communities, and our city? This is work that matters and speaks to my heart. 
Joining Mike McGahan and CLV is a natural choice as it provides a platform for me to contribute to projects that will significantly impact our region while allowing me to be part of a team that genuinely prioritizes community development, well-being and inclusive growth.

I am a builder.  It is in my heart and it is what drives my passion, so when Sam and Mike called and asked me if I wanted to help them build a great company that protects critical SaaS and cloud data, it was an easy decision for me. Executive in Residence supporting the University of Ottawa's Startup Garage pre-accelerator program led by the Entrepreneurship Hub to foster and support entrepreneurship.  For nearly a decade, this in-house startup support service has run dozens of early-stage Ottawa companies through the paces of building a business. Notable graduates from the garage include The Growcer, Desk Nibbles, Spoonity and Welbi.  Thrilled to be part of this dynamic team supporting a vibrant new eco system of technology companies in Canada.

I want to support great people doing great things, so when the CCC reached out and asked for my help, of course I jumped up and shouted "YES!".  Today the Canadian Culinary Championships brings together guests annually at events across the country to celebrate Canadian excellence. Over 100 chefs compete annually for the chance to be the Canadian Culinary Champion while raising funds for Canadian athletes and music & food programs for youth.  This celebration and elevation of Canadian culture in food, sport and music has raised over $15M to date providing young Canadians the opportunity to be extraordinary in the same pillars:
-	High performing athletes are provided the support they need to compete on the world stage. This year funds raised will support the Women’s National Soccer team, Snowboard Canada, Freestyle Ski Canada, Cycle Canada and Athletics Canada.  
-	Additionally, musical instruments are purchased for schools, enabling students to discover the magic of music. Last year 21 schools across the country received grants up to $15k. 
-	Kids learn from leading Canadian chefs how to grow, cook and share healthy food addressing food security for all youth.

What a blast!   From the very early beginnings to a successful acquisition in January 2015, this journey was certainly a career highlight.  Post acquisition my role shifted to integration and global HR Management driving Revenue & EBITDA results of this $250M industry leader.   Named to Connected World Top 100 List for 2014 and winner of multiple awards including Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500 awards.  

Active member of the senior leadership team of SkyWave and ORBCOMM.  Responsible for global HR operations, facilities and corporate services.  From building winning teams and developing a winning culture, my role was to implement programs that engaged employees and drove Revenue & EBITDA corporate performance.
