Regional Vice President at Fred Finch Youth and Family Services

Provide consultation, technical assistance, and guidance to agency leaders on management strategies, program development, strategic planning, staff competency development, new business development, compliance with government contracts, trends in the field, policy analysis, and more.

Areas of subject matter expertise include (in part): 

* Behavioral and physical health services for children, youth, young adults and their families, particularly those with relatively high service needs (e.g., those involved with child welfare, juvenile justice, developmental services, homeless services, affordable housing systems);
* Evidence-based and evidence-informed practices for the above populations, with consideration of culturally relevant practices; 
* Residential, crisis stabilization, community-based (aka "mobile"), outpatient modalities of behavioral health services;
* Supported employment and supportive housing programs for young adults; 
* Management of multidisciplinary teams including staff with lived experience; 
* Building trauma-informed systems that promote participant and staff resilience; 
* Initiating and sustaining racial equity and cultural responsiveness initiatives;
* Interagency collaboration;
* Outcomes measurement and evaluation;
* Grant development and contract management with foundations and other funders
* Obtaining and maintaining accreditation with The Joint Commission and facility licenses with Community Care Licensing
* Behavioral health program development, including staffing, budgeting, and financing using multiple funding streams.

I have expertise in the funding and successful delivery of multiple mental health, housing, and social services programs for youth and young adults, and their families.

I administered the Northern California programs at Fred Finch, which include a wide variety of residential, housing, employment, and mental health programs, delivered in schools, homes, and communities in several counties.

Regional Vice President

I was a Senior Division Director, following a year serving as the Interim COO at FFYC, following about 8 years as the Division Director for TAY services.  As the Division Director, I  administered mental health and housing programs for TAY (Transition Aged Youth) aged 18-25 in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.  As Senior Division Director, I oversaw the operations of our other mental health and social services programs for foster youth and other high-risk youth.
