Joanna Paul is a passionate advocate for early childhood development, care, and education, with a background in psychology and sociology. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in public health and social work from the University of Illinois Chicago. With a strong focus on advancing racial and health equity and social justice, particularly for children and families, Joanna has worked in various roles such as a Policy Intern at Start Early, Graduate Research Assistant at University of Illinois Chicago and Irving Harris Early Childhood Scholar and Research Assistant at the same university. She has also worked as a Clinical Research Assistant for Early Intervention Research Group at Northwestern University, Reading Scholar Coach at Schuler Scholar Program, and Teaching Assistant at Wesleyan University among others.
