CloudMailin is a tool for developers to make it easy to receive email in their web applications.

As the founder I developed the initial email server and critical infrastructure used to deliver millions of messages per day to their recipients. As the tool has continued to grow we've invested a huge amount of effort into security, scalability and overall experience, ensuring that developers don't even have to think about receiving email in the Cloud.

As a founding partner and the head of Engineering, I'm in charge of everything technical in ProFinda.

ProFinda uses machine learning and intelligence to help discover a 360 degree understanding of you. Using this profile and many others, we find the best people to help you in your daily tasks.

The ProFinda development team has grown rapidly within the last few months. Although we're primarily Ruby / Javascript developers, we use a huge range of exciting technologies to help understand and match relevant people. Brightbox developed the UKs first multi-zone Cloud infrastructure service.

As the head of development, my team was responsible for Brightbox's Infrastructure-as-a-Service product along with the maintenance of existing products. Brightbox had its own customised stack that handled everything from network and physical hardware upwards.

The development team was responsible for the creation of a suite of management systems to control the entire Cloud infrastructure, from the customer user interface right down to the automated provisioning of servers.

The development team worked closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless service for customers. This allowed customers to scale their systems and take advantage of the cloud, whilst we maintained the attention to detail needed to ensure the success of so many, mission critical, customer systems.

SCSWORLD was my first company, starting when I was 14 years old, it provided a wide range of Internet Services in an age when the Internet had only just begun to take off.

SCSWORLDs defining product was one of the first, mass-market, content management systems available. It enabled anyone, whatever their level of technical expertise, to build and publish their own website and handled all of the complexity for them.

The site is still up and running today for Nostalgia, although all of the customers have been migrated to newer, modern solutions.
