Ripplingkeys Music presents THE MUSIC TRAIL,  a scheme of work for Key Stage 2 curriculum music.  The approach is practical and fun, with children learning music through singing and playing keyboards together. There is considerable differentiation, allowing children who already have some musical knowledge and/or keyboard skills to be stretched and to learn alongside those with no musical experience at all.  The songs are catchy and popular with children, but they also provide teaching and learning points.  Conventional music notation is used, but the scheme introduces the concept of "Rhythm Language", allowing children to access rhythm, beat and pulse in an easy and enjoyable way, whilst maintaining musical integrity throughout.

Other schemes of work presented by Ripplingkeys Music are THE UKULELE TRAIL and THE KEYBOARD TRAIL, which teach ukulele and keyboard respectively.  Both are for use by complete beginners.  In addition, Ripplingkeys Music is proud to introduce THE THEORY TRAIL, for music theory (ABRSM syllabus), from complete beginnings as far as Grade 5, and THE HARMONY TRAIL for ABRSM's Grades 6, 7 and 8 music theory exams.

The Norfolk Keyboard Orchestra is an ensemble for children to play keyboards together.  NKO rehearses each week after school and gives a concert at the end of every term. Each Easter holiday we run Keyboard Camp - a residential course for young keyboard players.  NKO plays a mixture of many different types of music.
