Carmen Ortega
Carmen Ortega is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in trade development, business operations, and volunteer leadership. She holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, an M.A. from Universitat de Barcelona, and a B.A. from Simon Fraser University. Carmen has an extensive history with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, where she served in various managerial roles, including Trade Development Manager, Cruise Services and Canada Place Operations Manager, Business Development Manager, and Customer Relations Representative. She has also been involved with organizations such as Cruise British Columbia Association, Cruise BC, and the Canadian Youth Business Foundation as a mentor. Carmen's volunteer experience includes roles like President at Casal Catala de Vancouver and Constituency Assistant to a Member of the BC Legislative Assembly. Moreover, she has international experience from her time at the Organization of American States (OAS) as a Regional Program Officer and Information Specialist.
