Associate Director

Led the implementation of a multi-year strategic Digitization program to automate transaction processing, reduce operating costs, and increase staff capacity utilizing imaging, workflow, and robotics technology.  Core responsibilities include:
•	Program Execution – Performing the Scrum Master role on the agile delivery team that successfully implemented the Hyland OnBase (imaging and workflow solution) and BluePrism (RPA) across the US Transfer Agency business.  Led design sessions and managed testing activities for successful delivery minimizing execution risks.
•	Portfolio Management – Partnering with senior management to develop the automation roadmap for the US Transfer Agency business and manage the associated Product Backlog for project execution.

Transformation

Provided operational support to the Global Personal Insurance organization focusing on:
•	Portfolio Management – Responsible for institutionalizing a sustainable end-to-end investment strategy framework to provide a structured approach for managing a portfolio of global projects from business prioritization to project investment and execution.  Consolidated and maintained a rationalized portfolio of project investments tied to priority strategies in target markets in collaboration with stakeholders and the executive leadership team.
•	Capabilities Assessments – Led the planning and execution of capability assessments to identify gaps in sales, service and claims capabilities that support priority product segments (e.g., auto and property segments in the Americas, Europe and Middle East). 
•	Project Portfolio Reporting and Execution – Established a communication and reporting framework to proactively update the senior executive team regarding the progress of the project investment portfolio. Supported project delivery teams to ensure the success of on time, on budget execution of high impact initiatives.
•	Data Visualization – Led the development of a QlikView tool (interactive dashboards) to provide consolidated views of data and metrics to strengthen decision making and prioritization on strategic project investments.
•	Continuous Improvement – Evaluated and enhanced processes to optimize resource capacity and quality, and improve completion times.  Collaborated with the Automation team to establish a Robotics Operating Model for Personal Insurance. Assisted in the creation of the pipeline of Robotics Process Automation opportunities within Global Personal Insurance.

Senior Project Manager, Global Personal Insurance Operations

Directly reporting to the Head of Operations for Consumer Insurance North America responsibilities included: 
•	Expense reporting for the organization consisting of over 300 full time employees.  Provided analysis for actuals to budget variances, and updated monthly forecasts (expenses and headcount) as part of the financial close process. 
•	Defining the methodology for allocating the organization’s expenses back to the lines of businesses.
•	Managing the organization’s annual budgeting process.
•	Collaborating with A&H (Accident & Health), Personal Lines, Direct Marketing, and Warranty operations executives to develop and refine reporting dashboards to highlight operational performance.
•	Defined and supported the organization’s priority initiatives including the selection of A&H’s policy administration platform.

Head of Strategy, Governance, Administration, Consumer Operations North America

Led a complex program of work to consolidate two Bermuda entities as part of a critical restructuring plan.  The objective of the program was the operational integration of the newly combined entity and the release of over $300M in capital.  The program required successfully coordinating and managing the efforts of Legal & Regulatory, Tax, F&A, Investment Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting, Capital Management, and IT teams across the US, Bermuda and the UK.

Led the Process Design and Architecture team which included 3rd party specialists for a global IT infrastructure consolidation program to:
•	Establish a process architecture incorporating ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes 
•	Partner with process owners and IT Service Management application team to prioritize and develop processes

Process Workstream Lead, Operations Development

Supported AIU’s Restructuring Program with the objectives of simplifying AIG’s international legal entity and reinsurance structures, optimizing tax and capital efficiencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
•	Finance PMO Leader responsible for establishing, executing, and institutionalizing the process and standards for executive approval to fund the Finance organization’s global strategic programs and projects.
o	Supported the mobilization activities related to the development of the global P&C (Property & Casualty) business’s standalone financial statements. Developed a Scoping Document to identify and determine those in scope for PwC audit, SOX, tax remediation and internal audit work.
o	Established a Resource Tracking process to identify the additional headcount needs across the global Finance & Accounting organization.
o	Led and coordinated the rollout of GAAP and related training to the overseas regions (London, Kuala Lumpur, Miami, and Tokyo).
•	Served as a senior project manager within the legal restructuring program:
o	Managed analysis to determine the strategic legal structure for the Australia business.
o	Managed the Home Office activities associated with conversion of the Australia Branch to a local subsidiary 
o	Managed the Home Office activities operations related to the ownership transfer to consolidate the UK and European Holding companies.
o	Managed the Home Office regulatory activities to novate certain reinsurance agreements to allow for the reallocation of $400M in capital.

Senior Project Manager

Directed the implementation of Oracle Applications based solutions from mid-sized to Fortune 500 clients such as:
•	System Performance Enhancement – An archive and purge solution for a global management consulting company to help accelerate its monthly close process.  
•	Credit Card Solutions – Oracle Payables for two new operating units for a national provider of credit card support and servicing.
•	Project-based Costing & Budgeting – Projects costing and purchasing modules for a cable company as the Financials Lead.  
•	Billing and Costing –A projects billing and costing solution for an industrial/road and cleaning management services company.

Supported key Global Finance Technology strategic initiatives.
•	Established the PMO (Project Management Offices) for the merger integration programs to integrate BankOne & JPMC.
•	Supported the implementation an Expense Reporting (Oracle iExpense) system for the UK offices.
•	Designed, developed, and delivered end-user training for the: global deployment of a new forecast & planning application; and bank’s transformation program to consolidate its finance and business information systems to a single architecture.

Consultant in PwC Consulting’s (later IBM BCS) Oracle ERP practice implementing solutions for clients in multiple industries including:
•	Telecommunications - Functional Lead for the analysis and design phases to implement Oracle Purchasing, iProcurement, and Asset Management applications as part of an overall Oracle Financials and Supply Chain upgrade for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company.  Designed asset management process to resolve the client’s issues with tracking and maintenance of high-value assets.
•	Biotech - Analyzed, designed, and implemented the Oracle Asset Management application as part of an overall Oracle Financials implementation for a medium-sized biotech company.    
•	Consumer Products - Deployed Oracle Applications (Finance and Supply Chain) to the pet care division of a newly combined entity for a global consumer products conglomerate.  Developed material for prototyping sessions with stakeholders and assisted in designing and testing a payroll interface from PeopleSoft HR to Oracle GL.
•	Utilities Sector - Served as functional analyst on the testing team for an Oracle Supply Chain implementation for a utility company.  Developed system and integration test procedures for the Inventory and Order Entry modules.  Provided on-site support to end users at one of the client's inventory warehouses.
