Jeff Clavier is an accomplished venture capitalist and the founder and managing partner at Uncork Capital, a leading seed-stage venture firm located in Palo Alto and San Francisco. With over two decades of experience in venture capital, Jeff has used his skills to help numerous startups reach successful outcomes, thereby establishing himself as one of the most sought-after VCs in the industry. Jeff earned his MS in Computer Science from the Université Paris Descartes and went on to lead the development team at Effix, a fintech startup. After five years, he joined RVC, the $450M venture fund of Reuters, where he worked as a general partner. Jeff has served on several boards, including the National Venture Capital Association, and is currently on the boards of Arch Systems, DocSend, Intermix, and others. He is also an avid traveler, scuba diver, and wine collector.
