As Interim Communications Director and Program Director for the ACLU-NC, Molly managed all aspects of the communications work while leading the senior management team of the organization during a significant leadership transition.

As the ACLU-NC's first-ever Deputy Communications Director, Molly worked directly with the Communications Director to develop and execute high-level communications strategies, both externally with the media, supporters, and the general public, and also internally as an internal communications consultant and facilitator.

As the Food Bank's Digital Media Specialist, I am the online voice of the organization and manage a variety of digital media channels including a blog, website, and lively social media accounts. Since joining the Food Bank team over two years ago, I have expanded the Food Bank’s library of original content including compelling client stories, digital graphics, and video stories, and strengthened their Social Media Ambassador Program. My work has helped to boost online revenue, engagement, and build a consistent brand voice.

My short yet incredibly rewarding time at Hunger Task Force was my first experience in formal hunger relief efforts. As the seasonal Development Assistant, I coordinated the Food for Families food drives and Holiday Card fundraising program. I also assisted in the planning and execution of several large-scale events including a week-long telethon, a drive-through food drive at the State Fair Park and a school competition with 100 participating schools. I furthermore provided administrative support to other fundraising efforts including grant writing, promotions on Facebook, donor acknowledgements and volunteer recruitment.
