Claire Hooper

Dr. Claire Hooper is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of international experience in industries like Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Homeland Security.

She co-founded Cambridge Imaging and successfully sold it to major corporate partners like EG&G, Smiths Industries, and PerkinElmer, where she held senior leadership roles in R&D and strategic business development.

Claire currently serves as the CEO at CTC DuoFertility, Non-Executive Director at Abcodia, and offers advisory services to corporate, VC, and Private Equity investors.

During her tenure at PerkinElmer, she spearheaded the Technology Director role for the Bio-discovery business segment, overseeing science, alliances, due diligence, and strategy which led to acquisitions and business development worth over $50M.

Her previous roles included Director of Research, where she led science and technology programs for growth across Healthcare, Environmental, and Life Sciences sectors in the UK and Europe.

Claire's expertise also extends to technical assessments of acquisition and licensing opportunities from academia, venture licensing, and major customers like GSK, Amgen, and AstraZeneca.
