Simon Bayly is a professional dedicated to converting scientific advancements into profitable ventures with expertise in venture capital fundraising, business development, R&D leadership, investment due diligence, IP management, and entrepreneurship.

His experience spans across the realms of deep tech and interdisciplinary science, particularly in biotech, life sciences, cell therapy, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, synthetic biology, chemistry, healthcare, biosensors, biomarkers, medical imaging, nanotechnology, and advanced materials.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Bristol Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nottingham University Business School.

Currently, Simon serves as the Senior Business Manager -Translation at The Francis Crick Institute.
