VP Partnerships at Playstack

As the UK Director at what3words, my focus is on helping the ecommerce sector ensure orders find customers at the first time of asking - with drivers delivering to what3words addresses, a specific 3m x 3m square, rather than a house name, street address or postcode.

We've all been there; directing drivers to your house or office, packages left in the wrong place or not at all, waiting for deliveries which never arrive. It can be better.

For a retailer - using what3words means ensuring your products truly find your customers; and that those customers won't contact you to find out why their orders don't seem to have arrived at the right place.

For logistics companies - it means being able to pass on those what3words addresses to your drivers so they no longer have to waste time, effort and energy seeking out hard to find addresses.

The team at what3words has been building up their partnerships in this space and made incredible strides - Boohoo, Oddbox, Dusk and many more retailers ask their customers for a what3words address. And DHL, EVRI, dpd and many other logistics partners now deliver to those addresses. 

We are helping to create an ecommerce ecosystem where delivering to a what3words address becomes the norm; more efficient, more reliable and more sustainable deliveries... three words at a time.

what3words

UK Director

what3words is universal standard for communicating location, based on a global grid of 57 trillion 3m x 3m squares. Every square has a unique and fixed combination of 3 words (e.g.///filed.count.soap), in 50+ different languages. 

what3words makes it very simply for anyone to remember and share a precise location. A 3 word address can be used by itself or alongside a postal address.
 
Governments, NGOs, postal services and e-commerce, logistics, delivery, travel and navigation companies can integrate our API to accept 3 word addresses, saving time and money on operations, improving customer experience and enabling them to grow into new areas.
