Working alongside BBC News Labs to develop and pitch leading, cutting-edge technology for all BBC departments.

The three month internship offers the opportunity to not only work with the entire team, but to work closely with a 5 person sector on a designated sprint project.

Responsibilities include:
- Creating and developing working prototypes, using a variety of programming languages and frameworks, including Python, JavaScript and Node.js.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential issues with the different solutions investigated by the team.
- Reporting back my findings to the rest of the team on a regular basis.
- Write blog posts for the BBC News Labs team detailing my progress throughout my time with the team.
- Attend Google networking days along with other Google Fellows across Europe.

KD Nuggets is a leading site on Business Analytics, Big Data, Data Mining, Data Science, and Machine Learning. My job responsibilities were:

•	To write two original blog posts a month on a relevant topic.
•	To pitch original ideas to the editor, before conducting research, compiling a post and uploading it to the sites backend WordPress system.
•	Using my expertise, I was able to write about a variety of topics, including big data, data visualisation and machine learning.
•	To create visualisations to include in the posts, using d3.js or Tableau.
•	To edit and upload other authors articles on a daily basis.

Bluesky Interactive is a digital marketing agency, based in the automotive industry. During my time at Bluesky my main responsibilities have evolved as my knowledge and experiences have increased:

•	Helping to develop and maintain our bespoke .net platform.
•	Assisting our web designers; teaching and guiding them on how to use and manipulate our custom-built controls on the front-end. 
•	Creating windows applications using VB.net that connect with third party API’s.
•	Helping to manage and maintain our Microsoft SQL Server database which holds over 50,000 vehicles at any given time.
•	Using DTS and SSIS to create packages that import vehicle data feeds on a regular basis.
•	Using JavaScript and the jQuery library to create interactive web pages.
