Prior to joining The Times, he was the News Editor at Microsoft, where he led the team to report on breaking news and multimedia content.
Joiner is passionate about football and is an alumnus of Old Garchonians Football Club. His expertise lies in data journalism, visual storytelling, and interactive news formats.
