Walter Rivera is a well-traveled business professional with extensive experience in the startup world. He has conducted work in nearly 20 countries and helped launch a venture capital firm in Europe. On top of that, he has also attended and helped organise several international tech conferences with some of the world’s top political and business leaders. After his experience in Europe, Walter has worked for Disney Accelerator powered by Techstars in Los Angeles and became the Head of Sales at an AI/Chatbot backed by 500 Startups. Most recently, he joined the Partnerships team at MIT Solve. Walter is well-versed in navigating the complex world of startups and loves mentoring college students about their university's alumni network. Walter studied Bachelor of Arts, Politics at Pomona College and is an active member of several organisations such as Gravyty, OpenScholar LLC, and the Kairos Society. He has previously served as a Southern California President at the Kairos Society and founded Pomona Ventures. He previously worked as an Assistant at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and a Program Development Coordinator at Pomona College Academy for Youth Success. He is also looking to publish a book for college students.
