    Theatre Educator and Teaching Artist

    Zoe Nadal is a dedicated theatre educator and teaching artist known for utilizing play to inspire creativity and foster student-driven learning and social-emotional growth.

    Currently a member of the Arts Elective Faculty at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, MA, Zoe teaches playmaking and is involved in directing and choreographing both the Fall Play and Spring Musical.

    In addition to her role at Shady Hill School, Zoe also serves as a teaching artist with Open Door Arts, where she imparts drama skills to BPS students in grades 3-8 across various settings.

    Zoe recently completed her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre from Emerson College, focusing her research on critically engaged musical theatre classrooms.

    Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Musical Theatre, Dance, and French Language, obtained Summa Cum Laude at Northwestern University, along with a Master of Arts in Theatre Education and an MFA in Applied Theatre from Emerson College.

    Throughout her career, Zoe has been associated with various organizations, including Natick Public Schools as a Theatre Teacher, Wheelock Family Theatre and Open Door Arts as a Teaching Artist, and Shady Hill School as an Adjunct Arts Faculty member.

    Her past experiences also encompass roles such as Vice President of Programming at the Northwestern University Club of Boston, Ticket Services Representative at the Huntington Theatre Company, and various acting and teaching positions at esteemed theatre establishments like Writers Theatre, Paramount Theatre, and Marriott Theatre.
