Yun Wang completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University's Language Technologies Institute (LTI) in October 2018. During this time, Yun worked under the guidance of Prof. Florian Metze on sound event detection, showcasing a dedication to cutting-edge research in the field.

Prior to completing the PhD, Yun Wang also obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
