Yuha Jung
Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies, Arts Administration at University of Kentucky
Dr. Yuha Jung is an Associate Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky. She has been in this position since July 2019 and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2014 to 2019. Her academic background includes a PhD in Art Education from Penn State University, an MA in Museum Studies from Syracuse University, and an MPA from the University of Georgia.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Jung is actively involved in research related to systems theory, cultural diversity, and social justice within the fields of arts and museum management. She has authored several publications, including an edited book titled Systems Thinking in Museums: Theory and Practice (2017) and a monograph called Transforming Museum Management (2022). She is currently editing two upcoming books: the Oxford Handbook for Arts and Cultural Management and Financial Management in Museums.
Dr. Jung also contributes to the academic community as an associate editor for the journal Museum Management and Curatorship and serves on the board of the Social Theory, Politics, and the Arts organization. Additionally, she is pursuing a part-time Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of Kentucky's J. David Rosenberg College of Law.123
