Rabbi David Spinrad is the Senior Rabbi at Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria, Virginia. He was officially installed as the sixth senior rabbi of the congregation in October 2018.3
Prior to joining Beth El, Rabbi Spinrad served from 2013-2018 at The Temple in Atlanta, where he was the founding director of the Rothschild Social Justice Institute and co-founder of The Well, Atlanta's premier young adult Jewish community.1

Before entering the rabbinate, Rabbi Spinrad spent over a decade as the owner of a San Francisco personal training business. He is passionate about sports card collecting and has started a card collecting club at Beth El to bring people together and encourage younger congregants to develop an interest in the hobby.2
Rabbi Spinrad lives in Alexandria with his wife and their two children.1
