He has a background in economics, having earned a BA in Economics from Loyola College, Madras, an MA in Economics from Madras Christian College in India, and an Advanced Diploma in European Business from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). He also holds an MBA in General Management from the Asian Institute of Management.

Gopalkrishna has served in various roles throughout his career, including Founder and Managing Director at A&y Partners, Consultant VP Technology / Program Manager at Microland Group in India and the USA, and Manager - Marketing Intelligence & Strategy at Nortel Networks in Paris, France. He has also served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Business Development, Vice President of International Sales & Business Development, and Director at July Systems. In his most recent role, he founded Ethniceye Ventures, where he serves as the Founder.
