Yubeen Lee

Yubeen Lee is an experienced Design Leader in the computer software industry, with a background in both Enterprise and Startup environments. She is passionate about creating innovative consumer and maker products that empower end users. Yubeen believes in fostering a creative, open, inclusive, and collaborative culture that leverages multidisciplinary talents to drive disruptions in competitive product markets. She excels in leading teams of user experience designers, developing design strategies, incubating concepts, setting vision, creating scalable systems, and prioritizing MVP roadmaps based on deep understanding of business strategy and consumer needs.

Yubeen Lee's specialities encompass a wide range of expertise including User Experience, Design Strategy, Product Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Mobile App and Web App development, Incubation processes in both Startup and Enterprise settings.

Yubeen pursued her education in Human-Computer Interaction through courses at Stanford University (Coursera Inc.) and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

In her professional journey, Yubeen Lee has held key roles in various prominent organizations. She currently serves as a Senior Design Manager in the Microsoft Digital division at Microsoft. Previously, she contributed as a Senior Designer in the Strategy + Incubation team at Microsoft, as a Product Designer & Visual Lead at Coda, and in UX design roles at Microsoft including UX Designer II for Office and UX Designer for OneNote. Yubeen also gained valuable experience as a Graphic Designer intern at the State of Rhode Island, and as a UX Designer and Visual Designer intern at Microsoft and Paprika K. Design Studio respectively.
