Yousif Alhosani

Yousif Alhosani is a passionate Thermal Hydraulic engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Nuclear Engineering.

Yousif aims to spearhead the 'next-big-thing' in the engineering domain and leave a lasting impact on the world.

He actively engages in various engineering-related activities such as competitions, programs, and conferences to gain valuable experiences.

In his leisure time, Yousif enjoys reading, watching movies and series, exercising, writing, playing games, and exploring new activities within his interests.

His greatest pleasures include acquiring knowledge, traveling the world, meeting diverse individuals, and indulging in music, all in pursuit of adventure and excellence.

Yousif completed his High School Diploma at the Cambridge School of Bucharest and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Thermal Hydraulic Engineer in the Strategic Projects division of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation.

Yousif has held various roles in his career, including Thermal Hydraulics Engineer at Plant Support & Strategic Projects, System Engineer, Reload Designer at Korea Nuclear Fuel, and Safety Analysis Engineer among others.

He also gained experience through an internship at the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and a secondment as an Engineer at TerraPower LLC.
