Yoonchang Han

Yoonchang Han is a distinguished audio processing researcher with a focus on deep learning for music information retrieval and machine listening. He pursued his education at various reputable institutions including Seoul National University, Queen Mary University of London, and King's College London. Yoonchang holds a MEng from C4DM at QMUL/King's and a PhD from SNU.

Throughout his career, Yoonchang Han has been associated with renowned organizations. He is the Co-founder & CEO of Cochl, a company in the audio technology domain. Previously, he served as a Research Intern at Samsung Electronics and held research positions at Seoul National University. Additionally, he has interned at Reality Jockey, Ltd., Denon UK, LG Electronics, and Plasma Theatre Co. Ltd.

Yoonchang Han's academic background includes studying at Seoul High School, pursuing a PhD in the Music and Audio Research Group at SNU, and obtaining a First-class Honours MEng in Digital Audio and Music System Engineering from Queen Mary University of London. Furthermore, he expanded his knowledge by studying Electronic Engineering Systems at King's College London and completing an International Foundation Programme at the University of Reading.
