Yongjin Im

Yongjin Im is a debt finance partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.12 His practice focuses on representing lenders and borrowers in various debt financings, with a concentration on middle market private equity funds and their portfolio companies.1 Im's expertise spans LBO financings, second lien and subordinated loans, ABL facilities, restructurings, and workouts.1

Education and Career

Im received his B.A. in Government from Harvard University in 1988, graduating cum laude.13 He then obtained his J.D. with Honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1991.1

Admitted to the California State Bar in 1992 (currently inactive) and the New York Bar in 1999, Im has been practicing law for over three decades.12
