Yobie Benjamin is a venture investor and innovator with a diverse expertise in autonomous mobility, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced materials, life sciences, Internet of Things (IoT), fintech, telecommunication, cannabis technologies, sustainability, and retail/consumer products.

Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a 2015 Technology Pioneer for his advancements in virtual reality, Yobie Benjamin is actively engaged as a member of the World Economic Forum's Expert Network.

Currently serving as the Managing Partner at 4iNNO, Yobie is deeply involved in driving consumer product innovation projects in collaboration with various Fortune 100 companies.

In addition to his role at 4iNNO, he also holds positions as a co-founder and advisor to multiple startups in the realms of technology and synthetic biology, offering his expertise to HPEC (healthcare) and DBrain (AI).

Yobie Benjamin co-founded Token.io, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer Emeritus, overseeing the development of software solutions for banks to facilitate the issuance of new payment types. His involvement in the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank Faster Payments Task Force underscores his influence in the financial technology sector.

With a career spanning significant leadership roles, Yobie Benjamin was formerly the Global Chief Technology Officer for Citibank's Institutional Clients Group/Global Transaction Services, managing daily money flows ranging from $3 trillion to $9 trillion ($1.25 quadrillion/year). He also spearheaded innovation initiatives as the Chairman of Citi's Research Development Innovation & Learning Center.

Prior to his tenure at Citibank, Yobie was a Partner at Ernst & Young, LLP (now EY, LLP) where he served as the Chief of Global Strategy. Additionally, he co-founded Avegant, a company acknowledged for pioneering Light Field Technology aimed at revolutionizing human-computer interactions.

Extending his influence beyond the corporate world, Yobie Benjamin held the role of former chair for the civilian volunteer group NASA AMES Collaboration Labs, contributing his expertise to NASA AMES for a decade.

Yobie Benjamin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of the Philippines, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to technology and innovation.
