Yifan(Evan) LI(Lee)

Yifan (Evan) Li (Lee) is the CEO and co-founder of Pinlan, an AI startup that specializes in developing advanced machine learning and deep learning solutions for various industries, including retail, marketing, manufacturing, and logistics. The company, which he co-founded in June 2018, focuses on creating cloud-based platforms that serve several Fortune 500 clients with tailored AI solutions.13

Li has a strong academic background, having completed his graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University, where he honed his skills in software engineering, particularly in network and distributed systems. His previous roles include serving as the Head of AI at Caicloud, where he worked on cloud-native platforms for big data and machine learning applications, and as a co-founder and CTO at ZhiHui Health Technology, a data-driven healthcare startup.1

In addition to his work at Pinlan, Li is also a Senior Academic Advisor at Embark China, where he provides insights on AI and machine learning, and has contributed to various tech projects and startups throughout his career.12
