Sriram Ramanathan

Sriram Ramanathan, commonly known as Sri, is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Exela Technologies, a role he has held since May 26, 2022. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing product direction, solution strategy, and thought leadership to enhance Exela's technology offerings and SaaS solutions for its global customer base.124

Background and Experience

• Professional Experience:

  • Before joining Exela, Ramanathan served as the Engineering CTO for AI Product Development at Genpact from 2018 to 2022, where he led efforts in AI and engineering.23
  • He was also the Group Vice President of Cloud Platform for AI Bots and Mobile at Oracle from 2016 to 2018, focusing on mobile and conversational AI solutions.24
  • Prior to Oracle, he held the position of CTO at Kony, Inc., a mobile technology platform that pioneered mobile backend as a service (mBaaS) from 2011 to 2015.13

• IBM Tenure: Ramanathan spent over a decade at IBM, where he was recognized as a Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor. He contributed significantly to telecommunications and wireless sectors while being awarded over 150 patents during his time there.14

Education

Ramanathan holds two Master's degrees:

• One from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
• Another from the University of South Florida in Industrial and Management Systems.12
