Yatin Karpe, PhD, RTTP

Yatin S. Karpe, Ph.D., RTTP, is the AVP of the Office of Innovation & Commercialization (OIC) at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, USA.

With over 22 years of experience in technology transfer, innovation management, intellectual property, licensing, and commercialization, Dr. Karpe has worked in various roles at universities like Rowan University, Lehigh University, and North Carolina State University.

He holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from North Carolina State University, an MS in Textile Science from The University of Georgia, and a BS in Engineering from the University of Bombay.

Dr. Karpe is actively involved in regional, national, and international collaborations and serves on multiple committees for organizations such as the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), Licensing Executive Society (LES), and the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN).
