Xaelah Jarrett

With years of experience in non-profit management and community-based training, her strong project management and social change abilities are demonstrated through her work in volunteer management, coaching, facilitation and training, workshop development, and redesigning for equity. She has a demonstrated commitment to centering and designing for underrepresented and marginalized communities such as Black, Brown, Queer, and Trans communities within a framework of racial equity grounded in gender liberation and justice. Xaelah studied Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Psychology at Columbia University in the City of New York. She has held senior management roles in various organizations such as Peer Health Exchange, where she currently works as a Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Additionally, Xaelah has served as a Board Member at SisterSong, a Youth Group Facilitator at Ackerman Institute for the Family, a Transfeminine Support Group Facilitator at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, a Summer Teaching Faculty at Sadie Nash Leadership Project, an NYC Program Manager at Peer Health Exchange, and an Administrative Assistant at Columbia University's Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies, amongst other notable roles in her career.
